Question

Kodak S3210 Max Scanner

asked on November 4

We are looking to upgrade our scanners. We are currently using Canon imageFORMULA DR-G2110 scanners. We are looking to switch to Kodak S3120 Max scanners.

Does anyone else use Kodak? Do you have the full version of the CapturePro software or just the limited edition software that comes with the scanners?

The sales rep told me that Kodaks are fully integrated for Laserfiche but I want to make sure that I am getting all the details and not missing anything. Thanks!

I'm not sure which models, but our organization recently tested Kodak scanners and we had a lot of issues. I don't think we were able to get it working with Laserfiche until we tried Scan Connect, which has an additional licensing cost.

We use Kodak i3400 scanners with Kofax VRS 5.3 (additional cost) recently bought by Tungsten. but the scanning has been successful using these products.  Scanpro may be a less expensive option but we never used it.  The main feature we really use in vrs is color detection which saves us server space when scanning large documents.
