We recently migrated an on-prem customer that was not using Web Client to Laserfiche Cloud. They are used to the thick client features and are wondering if there will be the functionality of 'drag and drop' from LF Cloud to your desktop for exporting? The opposite way works (drag from your computer into LF Cloud for importing).

From what I understand this is more of a problem with being a web browser and that it lacks the functionality to do this. Is this true? Or can Laserfiche provide this functionality in the near future?

I think it is a browser limitation, but the thick client works all the same with Cloud accounts.

Hi Chad,

Yes that's what I understand as well, but doesn't mean it can't be done :) As for the thick client, we are trying to avoid that and stay away from installations as they require updates, IT support, etc. (main reason they wanted to shift to LF Cloud).
