Question

What do you do if a user reports a task in their inbox that you can not find in Monitor?

asked on October 30 Show version history

Something spooky is happening today and it's not even Halloween yet. A user reported that a task suddenly showed up in their inbox with a date assigned of 5/30/2023. They tried to open it and it says that they don't have sufficient access.

I searched the tasks tab in Monitor and it only shows they should have recent tasks from this year so I asked for a screenshot.

The instance name in their screenshot does not exist anywhere in monitor over all time across any instances. How can I find it as a system administrator?

See if you can find the instance ID in this table: [LF_Forms].[dbo].[cf_bp_main_instances]

I see it in the database. We even have the instance ID in the instance name, but if I search in Monitor across all time it does not come up.

What is the status value of the instance in that table?

The status is 1

That is very strange.  If you search features are wide open and it's not showing up something is messed up.  Anything in that table should reflect in Monitor in Forms.

Ok, maybe I will open a support ticket then. Thanks for your help
