Laserfiche 11 :API v1 How to import an electronic document file.

I'm using API v1 to create folders and upload files, but the files are in the sent PDF or TIFF format, not the electronic document format. Does anyone know where I'm going wrong?

What error are you receiving from the API? Even though you're importing a TIFF or PDF document it is still technically an edoc until it hits Laserfiche. You just need to make sure you're using the correct multipart/form-data content type for your request body and attaching the binary of the document with the request.

The files go to the LaserFilter normally, but they retain their extensions. For example, I send a PDF and it doesn't convert to a digital document. Am I doing something wrong?

The next release of the repository API (v2) for self-hosted supports your use-case and should be out around January of 2026.  This is the same version that is currently in Laserfiche Cloud.

Thank you for your reply, do you have any solution? I would like to develop something using an SDK, but the website doesn't allow me to download it.
