I’m working with a client who is cleaning up their repository and has built a workflow to convert existing record folders into working folders. The workflow successfully removes the Retention Schedule, Cutoff Instruction, and Event Date from a folder. However, we’ve run into an issue — if the Filing Date is set, the workflow isn’t able to remove it.

I can manually remove the filing date, which then allows the record folder to convert into a working folder. But given that there are thousands of old record folders, we’re hoping to find an automated solution.

Do you have any insight into why the filing date might be causing this issue? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
