Sudden Sign-In prompt when working in Forms Config

asked on September 7 Show version history

Anyone else suddenly get a prompt like this when working the forms configurator as an administrator and then have it just tell you that your username or password is no good.

It is odd because I can get around the entire application, and make changes, so I know I have rights to use it. But when I click the migrate button to migrate some user license this pops up like it no longer trusts my creds.

So I re-enter my creds and it tells me they are wrong. I tried FQDN and partial username.

Hi Chad, it's expected behavior for a sign-in prompt to appear when attempting to migrate users. It might be for security reasons. As for the sign-in failure issue, have you tried using the Down-Level Logon Name format (DOMAIN\username)?

Sure did, first thing I always try when entering windows creds into a box. Sorry I knew the terminology of that format as FQDN.

The account needs to have access to LFDS. Could you try accessing LFDS using the same credentials?

This is the account I log into LFDS with, it is in the Laserfiche Directory Server Administrators group and has unrestricted access to all features of LFDS

Hi Chad, could you please open a support ticket for troubleshooting? Thanks!
