I'm trying to locate a newer version of ScanConnect. We have 8.3, but we are finding that it doesn't seem to work with Laserfiche 11. Only ScanConnect 8.3 shows up on the download website.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
ScanConnect 8.3.0.123 is the latest version at this time. A newer package I believe is slated to come out later this year or next year (Pava can come in and correct me).
If you need the features ScanConnect provides for your scanner, we've suggested to our users to scan to their PC first using the scanner's software and features, then drag+drop the cleanly scanned file into the repository.
Scan Connect 8.3 is indeed the latest, and it should work with all current versions of Laserfiche scan software, and is still required for direct connectivity to ISIS drivers with it. If you are having installation issues I'd recommend opening a support case.
That said, I agree with what Jesse put that it's generally recommended to use your scanner's own software first if you want to leverage scanner features - it's not really a modern approach for us to 'pass those along' into our scanning UIs or to provide a driver pack, which is a large part of why Scan Connect hasn't been updated.
