Forms Portal Lagging, Timing Out, and Not Loading Pages

I've noticed issues on our instance of Forms Portal the last day or two.

Forms will either not load at all (I get a generic time out error from one of our network providers), or it will load the form half-way showing the title and favicon but a blank page, or sometimes it will load just fine but slower than expected.  It's very intermittent why it works sometimes and not others, and I haven't been able to pin down why this is happening.

I think I've ruled out that it is a network or ISP error, so I'm thinking it has to be Forms.

Restarting servers did not resolve the issue.

I'm running Forms Portal in a DMZ with the same routing service and database as our internal forms instance.

The internal forms instance is not having this behavior, only the public one in the DMZ.

I can't find any errors or issues anywhere that I look in Forms Portal, but I am seeing these errors on the Event Viewer on the Internal Forms server:

[500]: Sorry, but the page you requested cannot be found. Be sure that you entered the URL correctly, and then refresh your browser.

Function: Error

I'm seeing two of those errors each time I try to load form form through the Portal and it fails, maybe 30 seconds later.

I'm running LFDS 12.0.2503.265, with both instances of Forms on version 11.0.2311.50556, with no changes to any configurations or installations for weeks (nothing to explain this recent change).

Has anyone ever seen something like this before?

One of my customers is having the same exact issue today. I wonder if this is a targeted attack?

We haven't seen any evidence of an attack, and none of our other services are impacted.  I don't think that is it.

Can you try use DevTools (press F12 on Chrome) to capture the network trace and see which request was being slow?

Also please check if there is any console error.

And here's two trace logs.  I had to zip them to get them under the 5 MB requirement to upload here, and I also changed the file extension from .zip to .txt so that it would upload them.  You'll need to change it back from .txt to .zip to be able to unzip them.

trace1.har was an example of one of the times it failed and I got an error from our vendor saying that the site had timed out.

trace2.har was an example of one of the times it loaded enough to show the page title and favicon, but the page itself was blank.

I'm far from an expert diagnosing issues with these logs, but I don't think I'm seeing anything in these that indicates the underlying issue.

I did open a case with our VAR yesterday about this.

Today they got some log files from our servers and said they will open a ticket with Laserfiche.
