I'm wondering if this is due to how your fields are set up.

When a value is selected and then hidden, that value remains. For example, if the user selects 'Student' as an option for the 'Are you a...?' field, and then the 'Are you a...?' field is then hidden, the 'Student Information' element will still display as the value is still selected if the 'Save the data when the field/selection...' option is selected in the Field Rule.

Here's an example from an old form I made way back when, where the HTML field descriptor will only display with the correct options selected:

By using the 'When all' option, it will only display when those two exact options are selected in the radio button fields. If you're able to use another field with the conditional then this would also work, for you

From what I can tell though it's displaying the correct fields based on the input. Is it a specific field you're having an issue with that the Field Rule applied is working for?

for example, I selected student, then request type ongoing, then waitlist, it works.

however, when I change the request type to one-time, the waitlist is still there. it should only show if ongoing is selected
