We are looking for a method to move large amounts of forms into Laserfiche with less work. This would be for a potential customer that currently has a form development service through another vendor but is interested in moving to Laserfiche for more powerful business process features and VAR level support. The primary hurdle here is having to re-design all their forms from scratch again, sometimes up to 100 forms.
If we could instead submit images of each form to a vision model that does it's best to re-create the fields identified and completes the base form template for each, it would not only be helpful in these situations but existing customers could submit old PDF and paper forms to this vision model as well.
The vision model would need to know all the possible fields it can create in Laserfiche and look at existing forms with completed data to understand a field by it's title and or value where it would create a similar base template. From there a person can review and make corrections rather than re-build every form from scratch.
More and more customers are no longer coming from a paper solution looking for a digital solution and instead are coming from a digital solution looking for a better digital solution with personal support and training. This approach would help for both scenarios though since anything from paper to any digital form can always be imaged and analyzed by a vision model.
