Question

LFF706-Unable To TriggerRouting

asked on July 9

Attempting to execute an "Invoke Business Process". Workflow is running on one of our Application Servers. Attempting To invoke the Process on our Web Server where we have Laserfiche Forms installed., I can Edit the Web Service and Test the URL and the connection tests successful.

Yet this step in the Workflow always throws an error

Error 400 means that there was something wrong with the specific request from Workflow to Forms. There may be more information in the event log on the Forms server. The most likely cause is data in the form fields Workflow is trying to send does not match the field types in the business process in Forms.

We're also receiving this error, and have completely stripped down the workflow to only include a couple hard-coded variables...enough to assign the task once it kicks off. It's working in our Dev environment, but not production...where we previously installed LFDS 12 in preparation for the 12 upgrade. So we've ruled out any variable mis-match issues.

Have you checked the event log for Forms? There should be more details for "LFF706-Unable To TriggerRouting".

The fastest route will probably be to contact your reseller and open a case with Tech Support so we can take a closer look.

We are actively working with our VAR, just wanted to add what we've tried so far in case it helps Michael!
