Azure SQL and Laserfiche Database errors

posted one day ago

Hello everyone. I have been using Azure SQL for my dev environment for a while now. I have 1 DEV LF server that runs a handful of repositories as well as workflow. I have been getting some intermediate issues connecting to the DB from LF.
What I mean by that is everyone once in a while, the LF client will try and load a document, and I'll get a general database error pop-up. All I have to do is click ok and try again, and it works.
The event viewer will have an error like this.

An error occurred when executing an SQL query, retrieving the results of a query, or otherwise communicating with the database server. Session ID=790; Dialog ID=94911; Repository="DevAccountingDev"; Function=SysEntryOpenListingStreamEx; Message="[Microsoft][ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server]TCP Provider: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
Then a giant SQL statement.
I have asked my server guy to look into this problem, and he is not finding much on the Azure side. We run alot of other programs with the Azure SQL instance, and I'm the only one reporting any issues.
Has anyone else experienced this? What exactly could I look for to try and troubleshoot this issue?
I'm also getting weird problems with workflow subscriber not catching all events in my repo, which causes workflow to not kick off on entry created. I'm not sure if the DB issue is causing this, but it seems like the 2 problems could be related.
Any help would be great. Thank you.

Scenario 6 in this Microsoft documentation page sounds like what you're seeing.
