Question

Question

laserfiche domain name

asked on June 17

Where do I find this information on ServerName in my laserfiche setup?

Base URL

The base URL for the Laserfiche web client takes the following form:

where ServerName is the name of your Laserfiche web client server computer, or of your domain. All URL options build on this base URL

For cloud, the URL is  https://app.laserfiche.com/laserfiche/?repo=r-000ab000  where "r-000ab000" should be replaced with your repository ID.

What are you actually trying to do?

We are getting an integration with Cloud permit and they have requested the information for Base URL and Token URL for our system, but I'm having trouble finding it.

The information you provided above, should do the trick though because I know our repository ID.

Oh, that sounds like you need authentication information for an integration through the API?

Go to your System\About page on the server. It will be the Full device name value.

Hi Blake, thanks for the quick response.  We are cloud based user, and I've looked through all my Laserfiche account options: Content Management, Account Administration and Process Automation, and don't see a systems section to check.

Is it different for cloud versus on prem?

If you are a Laserfiche Cloud customer then you don't need to install the Web Client because it's already done for you. The Web Client is how you access the repository in Laserfiche Cloud. Are you wanting to install the Repository Desktop Client?
