Laserfiche 12 client installation error for Snapshot

So far we have had success in updating a couple of Laserfiche 12 upgrades for Client (getting ready to upgrade a few hundred more in a couple of weeks).  We have just encountered an issue, however, where Laserfiche Snapshot is not an option as a 'printer'.  We tried to go back into our Client 12 package and select 'Laserfiche Snapshot' as an option to install, but it gave us a 115 page error message (which we have attached for your viewing pleasure).  We have not tried to uninstall and reinstall yet, but that is our next option.  This employee needed her computer back at the moment.  

Do you have any idea why this happened, and how we can resolve this issue?

Amy, thank you for reporting this issue. The attached file seems to be an install log, so it's really helpful to investigate the problem. Tech Support will open a case for you and contact your solution provider to get more information.

Just to clarify, though, what do you mean when you say " it gave us a 115 page error message". The contents of that file did not appear in the installer UI, right? You just got an error linking to the file?

Correct.  There was a link to the error log.

We have since tried uninstalling/reinstalling and restarting the computer.  Everything installs with the exception of the Laserfiche Snapshot.

Cool, scared me there for a bit, it sounded like we showed that whole log in the UI.   wink

The log is saying that the installer is failing to update some files because they're in use. But it's also saying it didn't find a previous version of Snapshot, so likely it's another (non-Laserfiche) application. So we'll need more information, which is why I asked our Tech Support team to take over.
