I have a richtext field. How can I add mailto:<email> so that when someone click that, it opens the mail application?

Highlight the email address once it has been typed, and click the chain link icon (or, just click the link icon and manually set everything up there):

Then confirm the details in the pop-up screen, and click "Insert Link" to finalize.

Thanks. I do not see the chain icon in the rich text field.

Classic Forms would be the issue, it appears it doesn't support mailto:.

Are you able to use a custom HTML field instead?

<a href="mailto:someone@example.com">Text Here</a>
