The barcode scanner is unable to read QR codes printed on a black background. However, when the QR code is inverted—i.e., displayed with a white background and dark modules—it scans without issues.

However with the normal camera app both the barcodes scans are perfect.

This indicates that the issue might stem from how the barcode camera processes background contrast, possibly due to software or configuration settings. Has there been any update or resolution regarding this matter?

If you look closely, it's not just the background that's been inverted, it's every bit in the barcode too.

Both QRs ( Nornal and Inverted ) scan perfectly when using the regular camera app, so I suspect the issue lies with the barcode scanning feature within the Laserfiche app. That’s what I’m trying to point out.

I misread :)

Google just says that some barcode scanners can handle inverted and some can't... Not a helpful reply either!
