Desktop client administration console button missing

Has anyone else noticed the Administration Console button within the desktop client is now missing in desktop client 12? It used to be in the Tools menu I believe and had a button to open the admin console, so you didn't have to minimize and open the console separately.

Anyone have a solution to return it?

This is a separate installer now. In the 12 fall release and some of the late 11 releases, it was part of the server install. In the new 12 Spring release, it is a separate entity in the install screen.

Thanks for the reply, yes, I noticed in LF11 when they separated it from client installer, but even in the last edition of LF11, once both the desktop client and the admin console was installed, that Tools menu option appeared, so that you could quickly swap to the admin console from desktop client.

Just a thought, but maybe it was removed to get people to use the web version of the admin console, so they utilize the new metadata fields designer?
