The requested event version Latest ContentType @ Last Modified Major can't be resolved

I get this error on every web request rule and every rule activity in workflows after being imported and I don't understand the way it is phrased or how to fix it. The rules are published I can see them in the list I can select them. They have no errors.

The only thing I can do is replace the activities entirely and re-configure them from scratch.

Update: I think it has to do with the version of the rule used in the export not being a version that exists with the rule your using now. But in that case can't I just pick another version? Versions are almost never going to match with exports between repositories.

Hey Chad,

When you go to the designer for that rule, is there a version number shown there? If there is not or it is showing something like 1.0.0 there might have been a problem with the import, and republishing might help resolve the issue.

Normally there is a version number field, but while this error is showing it is hidden from view. You can see where it should be, to the right of the rule name, it is not showing in the screenshot.

Are you able to go to the Rule Designer itself and republish it from there?

Yes but it does not clear up the error in Workflow or allow me to choose a version still.
