Updated the domain in the Forms Server - Primary Forms Server URL but task emails are still using old domain

asked on April 18

I had a customer that has updated the domain in the Forms Config for task email notifications but the emails going out still use the old domain. Where could they possibly have an override for this?

You might check the Forms database Options table and see if there is a separate value for FormsURI or FormsHostEmailOverride.

FormsURI
Determines the URI that will be used to generate Forms URLs that are generated within the Process Modeler. If this option is not set, the server will generate URLs using the primary Forms Server’s URI.

FormsHostEmailOverride

Determines the links generated to Forms in user task notifications, so that you can generate links to the reverse proxy URL or the public-facing Forms URL rather than the primary Forms Server URL.

That was the reason. Someone must have learned how to do this at some point in time and modified the database directly. For some odd reason the domain override was exactly the same as the old value that used to be in the config.

Thanks for your help!
