Laserfiche Installer 12 Inconsistent Application Display

I am in the process of installing the new Laserfiche Installer on our 7 servers in the Development Zone.  As I complete the installation using the same Installation code, I am finding a different listing of applications. On some servers the workflow server only shows version 11.  On another server the workflow applications show version 12 and on the third server workflow applications are absent..  The server showing only version 11 is where I have workflow installed and will be upgrading to 12.

What am I missing here?

Hi Chuck,

The issue is that Workflow (both Workflow Designer, and Workflow Service) is not in the eligible product list of your company. In that case,

  • if workflow is installed on the server, Laserfiche Installer will show the installed version so that people can uninstall them only
  • if workflow is not installed on the server, Laserfiche Installer will not show the product

 

Could you open a support case so that we can review your license?

I don't think this would explain workflow 12 showing up on one server and not the others with the same activation key.  I understand that a bug report has already been created #586744.

The team is working on #586744. There is nothing wrong on your side. We will fix the bug.

Due to the bug, the inconsistent display is from the fact whether the workflow 12 is installed on the server. The expected behavior is that you can always see workflow 12 (the available version is the one in spring 2025 release).
