Question

OneDrive Integration

asked on April 9

Laserfiche can integrate with SharePoint, Teams, MS Office applications, Outlook, but not OneDrive.  We have the need migrate files and folders with files from OneDrive to Laserfiche Cloud.  Yes, there are workarounds, and those workarounds work for me and others.  However, it does not work for everyone especially those who must do the migration themselves but might lack the skills or time and are under pressure to get it done quickly before getting on a flight.  Failure to complete the task means failure to comply.

Wondering if others have identified this need or have any viable suggestions.  Thanks!

OneDrive appears as a folder in Windows so it's available to drag-and-drop files from it into Laserfiche through the Windows or web clients. You can also use Import Agent or Quick Fields to import files into the repository.

Could you give us more details on what doesn't work for you or others at your organization?

Hi Miruna,

Users are being migrated to OneDrive and SharePoint and moving away from the Windows File Explorer.  To go back and forth causes confusion, frustration, and delay in fully adopting the M365 environment.  These users are light Laserfiche users yet are responsible for their own file uploads for compliance purposes.  They understand the various M365 locations connected to Laserfiche and expect the OneDrive connection as well.
