Forms additional field save to repository

I have a form that saves to the repository. I assigned it a template, but had to add an additional field that is not included in the template. Each time I try to save a form, it suspends. It tells me access is denied.

When I remove the additional field, it saves just fine.

I have never had this issue before. Any ideas why this is happening? I've added fields frequently in the past without a problem.

Would this be because my Forms is on version 12 and the repository is stuck a version 11 until the update comes out?

Have you checked the permissions on that field? It could be that the Forms User doesn't have the permissions needed to add/edit the new field.

Although it is not impossible, the "access denied" error does make it seem unlikely that it would be a version/compatibility issue.

I did check security, but apparently I am not that observant. I checked again, based on your suggestion, and there was one box unchecked that should have been filled in.
