When configuring the Forms Email settings (Email Settings | Configuration), it allows you to send a validation email. Does that send/receive successfully to a known good email address? If so, it would be an issue with that individual's mailbox, not the Forms functionality. Ensure that they do not have a rule or a spam filter that is removing the email from their inbox and that it is not in the trash. Do not believe what they say they think is happening; see it with your own eyes.

yes, it sent a validation, although the email activity in the forms process works and users receive an email, the email that should be sent in the user task activity does not go through, and the employee with an impeding task does not get an email
If the process instance in Forms does not show and error in the email activity, then as far as Laserfiche knows, the mail server accepted the request and handled it. So you'd have to take the investigation to the IT department or whoever manages their mail server.
If the processes shows an error or suspended at the email task, then there should be a more detailed error on the Forms server indicating why the mail server rejected the request.

Does the organization by any chance have ProofPoint? I only ask because ours does, and some users get tasks from Laserfiche Forms occasionally quarantined by ProofPoint. Laserfiche sends it successfully, but ProofPoint will sometimes block them for random users.
