Currently, when previewing emails in the Laserfiche Web Client, embedded images do not display. To see an email in its entirety (including images), users need to download the file and open it in Outlook, adding extra steps to the workflow.

In contrast, the Laserfiche Desktop Client offers a more streamlined experience—users can simply click "View Electronic Document", and the email immediately opens in Outlook without needing to manually download it first.

Given that many users rely heavily on email filing and review within Laserfiche, we’re wondering if there are any upcoming enhancements planned for the Web Client experience, such as:

1. A deeper Outlook integration – Allowing emails to automatically open in Outlook when accessed in the Web Client, similar to how it works in the Desktop Client.

2. Improved email preview support – Ensuring that embedded images display properly alongside text within the Web Client preview. (I know this is on the roadmap for Cloud, but is it also planned for self-hosted deployments?)

For organizations handling high volumes of email within Laserfiche, these enhancements would significantly improve efficiency and usability.
