Capturing Data From Repository

Hi,

Is there a way to capture data from a Repository File?  We have an online form that when submitted doesn't submit the data but just creates an online image.  We want to extract that data so we can utilize it later.

We use workflow tasks to store form data to in-house SQL data tables when we need form data outside of Laserfiche.  Extracting data from the associated Laserfiche Forms database can be problematic if forms are updated or changed.

Any data you want to keep from a form needs to go into metadata, the file name or an external table. You can export metadata to excel or CSV from the repository. Everything else you can use Workflow to populate an external table or export it to CSV using a script via Workflow.
