Question

Adding a forward slash to a published form

asked on December 13

Is there a reason that a forward slash cannot be added to a published form link? It just changes to a dash, even if I try to encode a forward slash using %2F. We want to separate forms using the following:

  • Internal Forms: forms/internal/{Unique Characters}
  • External Forms: forms/external/{Unique Characters}

The idea is that both of these would be "public" forms, but only the forms that end with /external would be accessible outside of our network.

I am open to other suggestions if someone has another solution.

A forward slash would indicate to IIS that it should be looking in a sub directory on the server. I am guessing that is why Forms changes it to a dash.
