Hi Rafael,

Which Excel ODBC driver are you using On WF 11? "Microsoft Excel 2003" supports .xls files and "Microsoft Excel 2007/2010" supports .xlsx and .xls files. Please check to see if you are using the correct driver.

Hi Zihang,

I used the "Microsoft Excel 2007/2010."

Also, the first column of my Excel is a concatenate formula of my next two columns.

Hi Rafael,
It's not recommended to use merged cells in columns, so would be better to remove them.
Driver "Microsoft Excel 2007/2010" should be OK.
The error shows that the Excel file has some "unexpected format", but we are not clear about what it is. Could you please upload the Excel file, if it does not contain any private or sensitive data?
You can also try this to see if it helps solve the issue:

Hi Zhihang,

What format of Excel column value is needed for the workflow to run smoothly?

This is the sample value of the Excel file. I can't upload the Excel file.

"Column 1: P409748-63.6600-5-C500001-ME-00008-0 - 245kV Porcelain Air Bushing_712-16462-003

Column 2: 245kV Porcelain Air Bushing_712-16462-003

Column 3: P409748-63.6600-5-C500001-ME-00008

Column 4: 0

Column 5: 1"

This is a known issue for newer Excel files when attempting to open them using older ODBC drivers. Please install Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 and create an ODBC data source in Windows using the ACE ODBC driver for Excel instead of the old Jet driver.

Hi Miruna,

Sorry for late response.

I need to uninstall the previous version of the ODBC that I was installed?

You do not.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Excel only allows one connection at any time. Your spreadsheet cannot be open in Excel while Workflow is trying to access it.

I try if the error is resolved.

Did you have Excel open?

At this point it's probably best that you continue troubleshooting through your support case rather than here.
