Certification Description: 

This curriculum is designed to help you prepare for the Laserfiche Gold 12 Certification Assessment. The curriculum includes individual product courses organized into relevant topics and series that you can complete at your own pace, along with access to an optional sandbox for hands-on practice. While most of the content was created using Laserfiche 11, it remains highly relevant and applicable to Laserfiche 12. Additionally, we are introducing a new series called Unlocking the Power of Laserfiche 12, which covers the latest enhancements and features of Laserfiche 12. The Gold certification program provides e-learning courses and associated assessments to certify users on the fundamentals of the Laserfiche suite.


Certification Objectives:

Unlock the Power of Laserfiche 12

  • Understand how new features such as improved list field display, static text, custom per-template field labels, and tables make it easier for users to quickly and accurately fill out templates 
  • Use the new template designer to quickly and easily design templates and fields 
  • Take advantage of field rules to customize the information displayed on a template 
  • Identify the different features available in Laserfiche Forms to test your processes
  • Describe the new features that streamline process testing
  • Modify your testing approach to incorporate these enhancements
  • Use key features to streamline and simplify your process, ensuring best practices are followed

 

Getting Started with Laserfiche 

  • Navigate the Repository and the best way to organize it
  • Identify the different tools available in the Document Viewer 
  • Compare the different ways to import, export and share documents 
  • Use search filters efficiently and navigate through the results 
  • Collaborate with documents 
  • Understand what entry access rights are and how to administer them

 

Laserfiche Capture Methods 

  • Identify the different methods and tools available to bring content into Laserfiche 
  • Distinguish between Import Agent and Email Archive and when/how to use them 
  • Describe Capture Profiles and combine this capture method with other products to create complex solutions 
  • Compare the different ways to import documents to the repository 
  • Work with Smart Invoice Capture and identify how workflows and business processes can work with it  

 

Working with Laserfiche Forms 

  • Navigate the Forms inbox and start a process 
  • Manage team tasks, including creating, managing, and administering teams 
  • Create a form using the Laserfiche Forms designer 
  • Design a business process 
  • Configure reports for administrators and managers 
  • Identify process bottlenecks and analyze trends by using Forms reporting
