turn off selector aids when editing rules

asked on November 5

Is there a way to turn off the selector aids? They get in the way at times.

To elaborate a little on this. You can actually disable them altogether from the CSS pane. So even when you navigate elsewhere they are still hidden. Just remember that to turn them back on again

Currently the "Display CSS selectors" option is only avaible on CSS edit pane. It might be useful on other panes as well.

I will send this as a feature request to the team, thanks.

Thanks for the info, Zac

Is that setting stored by the session or user or form? Curious how this might impact my coworkers if I turn it off and then they jump in to tweak something.

Unchecking the Display CSS selectors hid most of it. When I click on Rules the Field ID still shows, but is managable. Thank you for the reminder, I couldn't recall what/where that checkbox was.

It actually looks like it is a global setting so it affects all users in that form.. That is probably a larger issue haha

I created #553600 to track this request as well as an older related issue posted here
