I am in a customer system and I found over 100 suspended public processes with the following error:

The query timed out before receiving a response from the remote agent.

If I press play, the process continues.

Why are these just suspended for months on end waiting for me to hit play manually just because a timeout requirement was not met at the given time?

If the machine is a little busy just wait a few seconds longer, don't make the vendor wait for months on end just because you do not have the patience for a few seconds of time. It is computer, it has unlimited patience.

As a vendor, I don't like the fact that I make a submission through a public web form and it just goes into the void.

Also how do we increase the timeout? I feel like I ask this all the time now about every system for every large customer environment. It feels like it is the year of strict timeout requirements.
