Enhancement Request: Internal Process Comments

In Forms (we're on v11 update 5, self-hosted),

On the Start Process tab, you see the Description field that is visible to end-users.

I am suggesting a similar "Comments" field that can be added to the Manage tab, where Forms admins could include internal comments, only visible to those with access to this tab.

Example use cases:

Note which processes have been fully converted to the Modern Forms Designer
Note why a process build has stalled
Note special considerations when updating/working with the process
Note who is the Lead Developer or Process Owner

From the title of this post I definitely thought you were going to talk about instance comments (which I am looking at), but this is an interesting idea. There is definitely a lot of horizontal space in the manage processes table, but it might make more sense to add a details pane on the right of the table since comments implies freeform text that may be more than a few small comments. in this field you could track a summary of changes that wouldn't work well in a table. For example:

6/6/24 - Waiting for user testing before adding new features
5/5/24 - Moved JS to field rules
4/4/24 - Copied process and converted to new designer
