Why does a script rule generate a result file token if you can only set output tokens of type Text?

A customer is asking why they see an option to choose a result file from the script rule activity in Cloud Workflow if you can only output text values

This token only shows up when using a web request rule and populating a file type input parameter

But when building a script, you can not change the type of your output tokens to output a file from the script server

Using Workflow you can pass an output file token from a web request rule in to a different web request rule as an input. E.g.

But this is a Script Rule, not a Web Request Rule. In my Script Rule configuration I do not have this response tab.
