Forms modern designer - custom html not working

asked on September 26

Hello, I am trying to use HTML custom fields in the LF Forms Modern designer to create a button that will call a JS function.

I think I get it probably wrong, but I am not able to have the button displayed, it would only display the HTML code. I also tried to create a hyperlink instead, but same problem, all that is displayed is the html code.

Any idea what may be wrong here ?

It looks like you're entering the code into the rich text editor portion of the field, not in "code view".

Click this button:

Then enter your code, and it should work for you! :)

You're putting it into the text editor view of the field.  You need to click the button that looks like this:   </>   in order to switch to the code view.

You're absolutely right, it works now. Sorry I have taken your time with this, I am quite new to the modern designer...
