What happens if users do not verify? Does every new user get a verification email they have to respond to when adding their account even when your choosing not to send them a new password setup email?

Business processes will not send emails to users with unverified email addresses. Other automated emails may not be sent either (notifications when workflows and business processes are started, edited, etc.). If you don't intend to assign them tasks, you can leave them unverified.
Users can request verification after initial onboarding by going to My Account and clicking the link to request verification.
Whether an email is sent requesting verification is controlled by "send email verification" checkbox when you don't send them the email to set their password.
Also, just to add to Miruna, I believe the Direct Share function will not work until the user has verified their email.
We don't seem to have the "send email verification checkbox" but we want them to verify and be able to get email alerts anyways so good to know how it works, thanks!

There used to be a checkbox to have the verification email sent to the users when importing the user list, but that option is gone, and the only way I can see to send the verification email is to click the Verify link for each user. This is time consuming when importing 100 users. What happened to that option? Is there another option for selecting multiple users and sending the verification email that I'm not seeing?
