Forms Config - Forms does not have read permission on the folder

Why is forms giving me this error to access a folder on the D disk? If I check effective rights it says that System has full control of the folder since System gets access to every local disk on a Windows OS.

Hi Chad,

Is your app pool using default identity? Maybe try grant the app pool full rights on this folder. You can follow the steps to grant FormsAppPool rights, see if it helps.

That was it! I had to add the application pool identity which was using the default and it has an odd name in Windows Security of IIS AppPool\FormsAppPool
