Odd Behavior When Reassigning Tasks to Teams

Does anyone else find it odd when reassigning a Forms task to a team, the task is assigned to the members of that team (with the Team Member option marked), but the email about the reassignment goes to everyone in the team (whether or not they have the Team Member option marked)?

I'm an Administrator on every one of our teams, so I always get these emails, but I'm not a member of most of the teams, so I'm not included in the assignment.

It would be nice if this could be tweaked so that emails only went to the individuals with the Team Member checkbox when tasks are reassigned to that team.

Forgive me if this doesn't work, but have you tried unchecking the box under the Email Notification Task that says 'When a team is a recipient, include team managers and administrators'?  I think it checks it by default.

Ugh - I didn't even realize that was a thing.

None of these are tasks being assigned to the teams, but rather are assigned to individual users who later manually reassign them to Teams.

I'll uncheck that on the most common tasks I see being reassigned and hopefully I'll see a drop in the number of these emails I receive.
