When importing documents into Laserfiche Repo, preview is not loading.

On Friday, August 23rd, we applied the following update:

KB: 1014502 / LF Web Client 11, Update 8.

We are currently using:

Laserfiche Web Client 11 (11.0.2401.9)

Laserfiche Repository Access 11.1.2212.409

Since the update, when importing pdfs, we are unable to preview the documents to apply metadata. This happens whether you import just one pdf or multiple pdfs at once. If you import a tif, then you are able to view, but no pdfs at all.

 

Is this a bug??

For Laserfiche: Using the developer console in Chrome, I was able to determine this was because of an asset reference to the javascript files. The program is looking for https://[server]/11.0.2401.9/Viewer/web.. rather than /Laserfiche/Viewer/web/...

 

I created a 11.0.2401.9 site pointed to the web client web files to see if that would alleviate the behavior, and that seems to have done the trick, previews are now showing. However, we would not want to keep this site and if Laserfiche could look into why this reference is pointing this way, that would be a big help!
