Laserfiche Web Access Chrome Extension (Scanning)

We just found out that Chrome may no longer be supporting the Laserfiche Web Access Extension (for scanning) and Chrome is asking us to find an alternative. What do we need to do as a city that relies on the use of web access extension for our end users?

The extension has not been needed (or used) since version 10.4. The web client 10.4.2 and higher uses an updated mechanism for launching Scanning and the Office Integration.
