word field merge

HI,

I have a cloud workflow that adds values to fields using "update word document".

I am using a simple field merge.

When it runs most of the fields update without issue but one field inserts the value 3 times.

The field sum of «Amount») is given the value 123456 and the end document has 123456(£123456123456).

I have tried deleting the merge field recreating it and reuploading the document but get the same result.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Please right-click on the field in Word, select "Toggle field codes" and take a screenshot so we can see the full setup for it.

Hi,

I changed the field type on the form from currency to number but I still got a similar result.

123546(£«PropertyAmount»123546)

I also changed the name of the field in Word to see if the name "value" was conflicting with something else.

Any Ideas?

I have removed the field created a new field with a different name and got the same result.

Other fields work without issue.

Where does the number come from? a form standalone field (not inside a table)? and it is not added to the word doc inside a table format?

Hi,

 

The values are entered into a Laserfiche Form.

Imported into the workflow as starting values.

It and other values are entered into the Word document using Simple Field Merge.
