Gmail Integration to Laserfiche

asked on August 2, 2024 Show version history

Hello,

Does some one happen to know how I can add gmail option to the following? This screenshot is taken from Laserfiche cloud and I am trying to integrate gmail with cloud. Any additional information or suggestion can be helpful. Thank you.

Additionally, I also want to add that on the following page "https://doc.laserfiche.com/laserfiche.documentation/en-us/Content/Integrations.htm?tocpath=Integrations%7C_____0

there is documentation for several connectors but nothing on the gmail connector. Shouldn't we have some guidance there for the missing connectors as well ?

Not sure what you mean. Laserfiche does not have an out-of-the-box integration with GMail. If you are trying to archive emails from Gmail to a Laserfiche repository, that can be accomplished through Email Archive (which is part of Import Agent).

Hi Krishna,

The Connector in the solution marketplace is an option through an iPaaS partner (MuleSoft, in this case), as an external integration possibility. The help file and admin console UI that you are referencing in the original post are about a very specific built-in out-of-the-box email import option directly in the Laserfiche Client and Web Client. So, yes, the marketplace connector can be used to set up an external integration with Gmail, but it wouldn't be able to go directly through the built-in front-end applications like the built-in Office integration or the built-in front-end import services.

Thank you so much for explaining, I think I do understand better now. Do you happen to know if there is any place where I can find more information about this setup? I haven't been able to find much information about this.

Thank you for your help.
