I scanned documents that have a work flow attached using the metadata. I am new to my position and Laserfische so terminology could be wrong. I have a set of scanned documents from one day that did not go into the correct folder. I do not know what I am to do to get the documents filed correctly.

Hi Shannon,
In order to help you, we're going to need more information. In particular, what Laserfiche products are you using? You tagged Workflow, but workflow doesn't scan documents... so I'm guessing you're also using Laserfiche (desktop) scanning, web scanning, Quick Fields, or another product as well?
This matters because our scanning products can put documents in specific folders, but workflow can also move documents to a specific folder (e.g., from a general Scanned Documents folder to a more specific folder).

Do you mean you have a workflow configured to run on documents when they are assigned metadata (template/fields/tags)?
I have a set of scanned documents from one day that did not go into the correct folder. I do not know what I am to do to get the documents filed correctly.
Did this only occur for one day? Are you asking how to find those documents? Or run the workflow on those documents again?
I scanned the documents thru the Laserfiche icons and they do have metadata so they go into any assigned folders. Laserfiche is also connected to CIVIC systems so folders are created for new employees after I enter the data into CIVIC. The movement of data did not happen on a specific day. They all have the metadata but are sitting with "Untitled" in the Manual Review folder which is under the Incoming Documents folder. I have tried to move the documents were they should go but that doesn't work either.
Hi Shannon,
This sounds like something isn't working correctly with the Workflow application, either because there's an issue with it on whatever machine is hosting it, or there's specific starting rules that need to be met to move these documents and those conditions aren't being met. Contacting your reseller and having them help you with it is probably your best path forward.
By "I scanned the documents thru the Laserfiche icons", do you mean you clicked the picture of the scanner in the toolbar of the Laserfiche web client?
If so, that opens our desktop scanning software ("Laserfiche Scanning"). Are you using basic mode or standard mode? Are you using the scanning software to set a name and move the document to a folder?
I have tried to move the documents were they should go but that doesn't work either.
Do you mean you tried to manually drag them to the correct folder in the web client and they didn't move? I think of two reasons this might happen: repository security or you have a workflow that immediately moved them back. If it's the latter, you should be able to figure this out by reviewing your starting rules and making sure they are specific enough.
