Question

Allocation of Participant users not reflecting on Forms

asked on July 4, 2024

Good day all,

We running Laserfiche Directory Server 11 (Build 11.0.2309.2278). We have allocated 67 Participant Users licenses to a branch under Organization.

When sharing the lic file and restarting services the allocation of users on the Forms server shows 0 available.

This was after Laserfiche migrated us from Rio Forms Authenticated Participant Users LSAP to Subscription Participant User.

If we use the old lic file, the number of users appears but we need to add additional users now.

The branch is not part of the same domain and runs their own servers.

Are we missing a step?

Thanks

Ian

Is the Forms license they're using issued under the same Organization?

The "Participants" tab shows those "Rio Forms Authenticated Participant Users" you used to have. The new "Subscription Participant Users" should show up under "Named Users".

The issue to solve is thus that Forms thinks there are 63 users that still have the old "Forms Authenticated Participant" license type allocated. If you have not updated those users' licenses in LFDS, do that first, then manually Synchronize Forms with LFDS.

Good day Samuel,

Thanks for the feedback. It is issued under the same organization.

I cannot see the new "Subscription Participant Users" should show up under "Named Users". It only shows the Full Named users which is synced from the local Laserfiche Repository.

We would like to make use of the "Add" user function to allow the branch to manage users locally like they have been.
