Question

Transfer Forms data into Smartsheet

asked on July 1

We have been asked if Laserfiche Forms data can land in Smartsheet (ideally, this would work automatically, but we would settle for export/import if that's the best/only solution).

I saw there is a "Smartsheet Connector" in the Solutions Marketplace, but our VAR hasn't been able to get us any information on it (how it works/what it costs/what it does exactly).

Has anyone transferred data from Forms into Smartsheet?

We are not using Data Shuttle.  We use LF Workflow to capture the Form data, then use the HTTP Web Request activity in Workflow to access the Smartsheet API.

Hi Jennifer,

We're currently doing this with one of our internal processes.  We use Laserfiche Forms to manage our contracts/projects, and we use Smartsheet to track our monthly billings.  When we input our various billing milestones for each project, we push them to Smartsheet using Smartsheet's API.

Is that the Data Shuttle? Or something else? I'd be grateful if you could point us to any documentation or tell us how you got this working. No one on my team has experience with Smartsheet, so we'll need to have the users of that system walk us through what they know of its capabilities.
