Audit reporting is not ready for use.

Dears,

I am getting the following error when trying to start the audit trail

"Audit reporting is not ready for use. Please wait until the data is ready or contact an administrator. (OperationID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)"

Hi, Mark,

 

The most probable cause of this error is that Audit Trail have not completed indexing audit events into search catalog for reporting. You can check out the "Search Catalog" tab on Audit Trail Configuration site (typically at "https://{server name}/AuditTrailConfig").

If something goes wrong, there should be error in ETW log of Audit Trail for further investigation.
