import agent - What access is need to load files from another server.

What account/user does IA run as?  I want to load images from another location not on the server that the agent is running on.  What security needs to be on the file share for IA to be able to access the files?

Import Agent runs as the user specified in its service login. By default, that is Local Service, which does not have access to other machines. You can change the service login to a domain user, which would allow it to access remote machines.

Keep in mind, though, that services do not have access to mapped drives and any remote paths need to be specified in UNC format.

You will also need to configure the security of the folder containing the files to import so that your IA service login user has access to the folder.
