SAML token is expired error on Quickfields for a new user

asked on May 23, 2024 Show version history

We have a new user who scans documents with Quickfields, but after a few minutes, the documents start failing to be stored into the LF repository and there is an error "The SAML token returned by the server is expired". The user is able to perform a "Migrate Document Class" and force the LFDS / saml authentication again, but this will only make it work for a few more minutes.

Quickfields is installed on a shared scanning desktop PC, and all our Laserfiche platform including the LF repository is on-prem. Also, we do have LFDS for user management and all non-administrative users are saml users.

I could find similar issues on another answers threads, but they were only related to Cloud repositories, however all our platform is on-prem.

Does anyone have an idea where this could come from and how to fix it ?

Thank you !

Hello,

Could first confirm the version of Quick Fields you are currently using: Select 'About...' in the 'Help' tab to view the version.

This issue has been resolved in Quick Fields 11 Update 3. If you are using a version of Quick Fields lower than Quick Fields 11 Update 3 (11.0.2303.30119), you could try upgrading to Quick Fields 11 Update 3.

If you still have similar problems after upgrading, please leave me a message.

Thank you.
