Forms - Long field labels displace required field asterisk

I am on Forms 11.0.2311.50556 and noticed that when I have a long field label for a required field, the asterisk is forced all the way to the right and is not at the end of the text .

I think that is intentional by design - the asterisk isn't just a character appended to the end of the line of text, but a separate element in the structure of the form.

I'd like to revisit this. Is there some logic that can be adjusted? Is there a number of characters in the field label that if exceeded, it places the asterisk at the field width? If the field label is relatively short, the asterisk is placed at the end of the label. We're now using Forms 12.0.2503.10378 and I keep having users point this out like it's something I goofed up.
