Since Team Filters do not exist in Laserfiche Cloud, has anyone come up with any creative workarounds for this?

This is our use case:

A customer has an invoice approval process. Each department has a designated approver; however, the other folks in that department would like the ability to monitor or re-assign tasks on an as-needed basis. 

What are some ways I can implement this functionality?
