Table field merge not working

Hello All, 

 

I am building a workflow that will retrieve values from a forms table and insert into an update word activity table field merge. It performs everything fine however in my word document I am not able to see the table field merges unless I have "Show field codes instead of values" (Alt + f9) on. All other simple merge fields seem to be displaying just fine, but not my table field merge. Does someone seem to know the issue? I have redone the mergefields in the word document with thoughts that I may have messed something up there but that seemed to help nothing. 

 

Any help is appreciated as I am new to workflow, thanks!

Hi Asyria Geegan,

I could not reproduce the issue. You would be better to contact support and provide the workflow, the original word doc, and the word doc after updating field merge via workflow, and screenshot of all tabs of workflow instance, provide logs below if there is any errors, office word version, workflow version. 

Log location:

  • [WFInstallDir]\Workflow\Logs
  • Event viewer logs
