Question

Question

+New option

asked on April 3, 2024

I am editing a form where a person has to enter date(s) that an event will occur.  Currently, it is just a text box where they can enter any information.  Is there a way to bring the date box in and then have the option of +New and another date box opens?  I want them to do this as many times as possible for every date of the event.

It sounds like you want a Collection or Table.

The specifics of how it will all look is going to depend on what version of Forms and which designer (i.e. cloud vs self-hosted, forms designer vs classic designer).

Putting a Date field in a Collection or Table will make it repeatable.

Collection (laserfiche.com)

Tables (laserfiche.com)

We just got set up with Laserfiche last month, so I'm guessing it is cloud hosted using forms designer.

There is separate documentation for Cloud, but the process for adding Collection and Table variables to a form is essentially the same.

Collections | Laserfiche Forms | Process Automation

Table Fields | Laserfiche Forms | Process Automation
